The Juventus CRS Elite BU12 team won the CYSA State Cup Championship on February 15, 2009 in Morgan Hill. CRS advanced out of a very competitive opening round bracket, which included one of last year's State Cup quarterfinalists, the SCC Breakers. In the semifinals, CRS overcame last year's State Cup finalist, Mt. Hamilton PAC United, with a tying goal in the last five minutes, and a winning goal in the last minute. CRS took the final against Mustang Internazionale with a quick golden goal in overtime, after coming back to tie before the end of regulation.
